FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation and rocket engineering. A method for securing the lid on the coaming of a hatch of an aerial vehicle, consisting in equipping the lid (3) with mechanical locks (5) with retractable rods (7), installing the lid (3) on the coaming (1) through a sealing material, and closing the mechanical locks (5) with a tool. The body of each mechanical lock is secured in front of the edge (10) of the coaming (1), configured for the rod (7) to be extended to the inner surface of the coaming (1) in the transverse direction. The retractable rod (7) is spring-loaded and installed between the side walls of the body, configured to rotate in a plane perpendicular to the inner surface of the lid (3). The lid (3) is equipped with an apparatus for synchronising the movement of the retractable rods (7) when opening and closing the mechanical locks (5).
EFFECT: reliability of the electric contact of the lid of the hatch with the coaming without a terminal connection, structural simplification, and reduction in the aerodynamic drag of the aerial vehicle are achieved.
