FIELD: road building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of road building and, in particular, to rain water drainage apparatuses. When preparing the roadway for laying the surface thereon, the space along the roadside, and under the curb, if present, is filled with a sand and gravel mixture (SGM), forming a drainage along the road in the form of a trench filled with SGM. When installing a road curb bordering the road, elongated lattice reinforced concrete "board" elements are laid simultaneously over the SGM, thereby forming a drainage apparatus. Road flows roll down the road surface to the roadsides and enter the roadside drainage through the lattice elements, through which said flows flow down the slope, thereby preventing road flooding. In the absence of a curb, instead of ditches, roadside drainage is provided along the roadsides and streets of populated areas, as in the case of a curb, and framing reinforced concrete lattice elements are laid. In order to reduce the intensity of flows, the apparatus of accumulating traps is made at a certain pitch along the roads in the form of an SGM filling across the road surface, over the entire width of the SGM filling of a corresponding volume located in the mass of the road base, over the entire width of the roadway along a length of 3 to 6 meters, with a depth of approximately 2.0 m (based on the depth of freezing with heaving soils in the base), covering this area with lattice reinforced concrete elements.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of reducing the risk of road flooding; contaminated flows of water from the roads, passing through the SGM drainage, are purified naturally and enter rivers already purified, and the drainage itself is also purified naturally by microbial flora; rain flows and snow melt water, passing through the drainage, are intensively infiltrated deep into the soil.
