SUBSTANCE: electric pump unit relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in thermal control systems for space technology products. Existing electric pumping units have a high temperature of the body of their electric motor during operation, which poses a danger to the operator. The electric pump unit contains an electric motor with a casing in the form of a circular cylinder with flanges at each of its two ends, stands, each of which is attached to each flange of the casing, respectively, impellers mounted on each end of the shaft, and input and output axial with respect to the casing electric motor pipelines. Between the cylindrical surfaces of the body and one of the pipelines, there is a heat sink assembled from the first and second sections, tightened to each other by threaded parts.

EFFECT: lowering the temperature of the electric motor housing of the electric pump unit during its operation and increasing the operator's safety.
