FIELD: packaging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packaging for tobacco products, for example for cigarettes. The package consists of a pack (2) for storing tobacco products and an outer wrapper (3) covering the pack. The outer wrapper has a removable part (17) designed to prevent the pack from opening until the removable part is removed. Either the pack or the removable part contains an opening control element that remains attached either to another part of the pack or to the removable part after the removable part is removed from the pack. The method for packaging tobacco industry products is also disclosed.
EFFECT: possibility of providing proof of the opening of the pack.
