DOUBLE-LUMEN INJECTOR-NOZZLE DRAINAGE TUBE WITH SCREW FIXATION Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61M27/00

Abstract RU 2765916 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to double-lumen drainage apparatuses primarily for drainage of purulent cavities: abscess, phlegmon, and is also suitable for drainage of pleural and abdominal cavities. The double-lumen injector-nozzle drainage tube is made in the form of a screw and consists of an external tube with a thread, located between the turns whereof are drainage holes, and an internal tube with four nozzle-type injectors at the top. The proximal section of the drainage tube is equipped with two holes: the central hole - also referred to as the proximal hole of the central canal - and the peripheral hole.

EFFECT: invention is characterised by high efficiency of irrigation of the drained cavity or wound with an antiseptic, allows for a reduction in the time of sanitation and improvement in the cosmetic effect due to the increased mobility of the drainage tube inside the cavity and the absence of additional fixation to the tissues, facilitation of drainage of the cavity, removal of the drainage tube for maintenance and replacement with a drainage tube of another caliber.
