SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sanitary engineering. Sanitary device comprises a sanitary object in the form of toilet bowl (3), as well as flushing device (5) controlled by control device (10) having at least one matched sensor device (4) for automatic flushing depending on at least one sensory message. Control device (10) is adapted to detect the position of user (1) or part of the body of user (1) relative to toilet bowl (3) over time based on sensory messages in the form of position data for detecting a movement pattern obtained from the temporal nature of the position data, to determine the type of use of the toilet bowl obtained from the pattern, to determine the required amount of flushing water depending on the detected type of application and to start the flushing process with this certain amount of flushing water.
EFFECT: preventing excessive consumption of flushing water.
