FIELD: aircraft engineering
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cargo hold of an aircraft for storing dropped cargo on board an aircraft. The cargo hold contains at least one weight holder mounted stationary on the upper wall of the cargo hold against the cargo hold hatch opening, at least one weight holder mounted on a turntable located outside the cargo hold opening. In this case, the turntable is made with the possibility of turning around the longitudinal axis of rotation by means of a drive to move the load placed on it to a position for safe separation of the cargo, opposite the opening of the cargo hold hatch.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the missile and bomb load of the aircraft without increasing the midsection of the fuselage, as well as maintaining the minimum mass of the aircraft and the most optimal geometric characteristics of the cargo hold with the possibility of unimpeded separation of the cargo.
