FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for regrinding of thrust centres of roll grinders. Head comprises a base and a housing installed on it, an electric spindle arranged inside the housing, and a grinding wheel fixed at the output end of the electric spindle. Inside the housing there is a first worm and a first worm wheel engaged with it, a second worm and a second worm wheel engaged with it. Head is equipped with a pulse sensor, kinematically connected to the first worm, a programmable pulse frequency divider, the input of which is connected to the pulse sensor, a stepper motor, the stator of which is rigidly connected to the base, and the rotor is kinematically connected to the end of the second shaft protruding from the housing, an annular pulse distributor connected to the stator windings of the stepper motor through a power amplifier, and a controlled reversing unit of the stepper motor.
EFFECT: providing control of circumferential feed of head, increasing durability of grinding wheel and quality of processed surface.
