FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: machine gun comprises a firearm frame with a window for loading a cartridge belt, a barrel with a breech, a locking mechanism with a bolt placed in a bolt carrier with a guide groove, cartridge belt feed mechanism with spring-loaded feed pin hinged on feed swinging lever in contact with guide groove of bolt carrier, and cartridge box with cartridge belt. Machine gun firearm frame is made one-piece, in its lower part there is a window for loading cartridge belt. Machine gun locking mechanism comprises a bolt carrier consisting of a base, in the upper part of which there is a central hole with an annular groove and a screw groove with a straight section, return mechanism guide arranged inside bolt carrier with possibility of free movement along its axis, bolt with recoil lugs on its front thickened part and driving projection on shank. Bolt drive protrusion is made in one plane with the recoil lug. Machine gun cartridge belt feed mechanism comprises feed lever with hinged spring-loaded feed pin with two feed projections. One feeding projection is made parallel to the feed lever, and the other one is at an angle to it, on the line of these projections intersection there is a hinge, note here that spring-loaded lever is secured on feed projection arranged parallel with feed lever to stay in contact with cartridge box projection to displace there along. Spring-loaded lever is made with different length of arms and on end of one of its arms there is a projection. Cartridge box of machine gun contains body with cover, on which there are guides for cartridges in belt, spring-loaded fixing pin, belt receiver and unit of attachment to machine gun. On the cartridge box cover along its edges there are beads, each of which is made in the form of a metal plate of an L-shaped profile with an internal radius rounding, wherein the beads are arranged opposite each other so that their inner surface forms a channel for passage of the cartridge belt, also, on one of the collars there are guide surfaces contacting with the lever of the feed pin of the machine gun cartridge belt feed mechanism and being simultaneously the projection of the cartridge box.

EFFECT: higher rate of fire, higher accuracy and reliability.
