FIELD: refrigeration engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refrigeration engineering, namely to refrigerating and freezing showcases of island type. The refrigerated showcase contains a container for displaying goods and a refrigeration device that contains a compressor, a condenser, a drain heating tube, a copper pipe sleeve, an evaporator and pipes connecting them. The capillary tube is placed inside the suction line tube, and behind the compressor there is a refrigerant outlet line blocked by a valve directly into the drain heating tube and the evaporator. The drain heating tube is located at the installation sites of the condensate drain system. The sleeve is connected to the line of the drain heating tube, into the internal cavity of which a plastic pipe is installed to drain the condensate. In the defrost mode, the refrigerant outlet line valve opens and the hot refrigerant from the compressor, bypassing the condenser, is supplied sequentially directly to the defrost drain heating tube and to the evaporator.

EFFECT: improvement of heat exchange during the operation of the showcase in refrigeration cycles and increase in the reliability of the refrigeration device of the showcase.
