FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building. A boom sprayer consists of a tank for a toxic chemical, a pump, a horizontal supply pipeline of the boom, and sprayers. Deflector sprayers are installed on vertical cable extensions, which are made of different length and alternate when attached to the horizontal supply pipeline of the boom. Sprayers are arranged so that each of them is displaced relative to each other in height h equal to 100 mm. Installation angle of deflector plate is α=7° from horizontal. Installation height H of sprayers movement above vegetative plants is determined by the relationship H=0.4l, where l is the height of the stalk.

EFFECT: reduced losses of sprayed preparation.
