FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular, to devices for determining gas content of coal beds and can be used in mine conditions to determine volume of gas released during well drilling. Device comprises a main pipe, a gas flow meter, a rod receiver, a smooth rod sealer, a wellhead sealer, a drilling auger rod with a drilling bit and a smooth rod, the off-well end of which is connected to a drilling drive. Wellhead sealer is composed of two seals - chamber seals expanding under action of injected air, and elastic seals expanding under action of external compressive forces. Elastic sealer consists of elastic cups, between which distribution washers are inserted.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the device due to the most complete sealing of the wellhead and increased accuracy of determining the volume of gas.
