FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road construction and can be used to reinforce sandy, sandy loam and clay soils of natural origin when creating bases of roads and railways, when constructing engineering structures, sites for various purposes, paths in gardens and parks. Method of soil reinforcement includes mixing of soil with hydrolytic lignin, followed by introduction of acrylic or styrene-acrylic latex polymer, pre-mixed with water, with the following content of components, wt.%: soil 70, hydrolytic lignin 8–12, acrylic or styrene-acrylic latex polymer 7–9, water 11 or 13.
EFFECT: obtaining reinforced soil with improved strength characteristics, moisture resistance and frost resistance while simultaneously solving the environmental problem of lignin utilization.
