SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organomineral sorbents and methods for their production, namely to sorbents based on natural zeolites modified with synthetic polymers, which can be used in solving environmental problems for cleaning solid surfaces from oil products. Described is an organo-mineral sorbent for cleaning hard surfaces from oil products, including a natural zeolite, characterized in that it contains a natural zeolite with a clinoptilolite content of 50-70 wt.% and polymer modifier, which is used as polyvinyl alcohol, in the following ratio, wt. %: natural zeolite with a clinoptilolite content of 50-70 wt.% - 80-95, polymer modifier -5-20 and a method for obtaining a sorbent.

EFFECT: development of the composition of an organomineral sorbent from cheap environmentally friendly components with increased oil capacity, based on natural aluminosilicates modified with synthetic polymers, which can be used to clean hard surfaces from oil.
