SUBSTANCE: weighing module for a nest includes a bottom for receiving poultry individuals and/or a nest base and a fastening device. Fastening device includes two or more fastening elements. On two opposite sides of the bottom there is one fastening element. Poultry is weighed during its stay on the weighing module and/or in the nest using the weighing module and/or in the animal staying device using the weighing module. Poultry fed into the device for separate feeding of poultry is identified, preferably by means of a transponder. Value of the input weight of the poultry is determined when the animal enters the animal staying device using a weighing module. Amount of the supplied fodder is determined by measuring the weight of the dosed fodder. Value of the output weight of the poultry individual is determined at the exit from the animal staying device with the help of a weighing module.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determining weight of poultry.
