Device (10) for cooling natural steaming gas for energy generation plant (12), in particular onboard the vessel, includes main tank (14) for storage of liquefied gas, including the first outlet branch pipe for natural steaming gas (45), means (170) for cooling liquefied gas, auxiliary tank (30) for cooled liquefied gas, made with the possibility of storage of liquefied gas cooled by means of cooling, first heat exchange circuit (40) including an inlet branch pipe, made with the possibility of connection to the first outlet branch pipe of the main tank for circulation of natural steaming gas in the circuit. The first circuit is made with the possibility of communication with the auxiliary tank, so that natural steaming gas passing through the first circuit is cooled by means of cooled liquefied gas stored in the auxiliary tank or coming from the auxiliary tank.
