FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment using optical fiber, namely, to fiber-optic security detectors, as well as to products, methods and means related to fiber-optic security detectors and their aspects. A fiber-optic security detector is claimed, including combined interferometers, containing a station part with a transceiver device connected to the linear part of the mentioned detector. In this case, the linear part is a branched optical circuit based on splitters and fiber-optic cable, which, by means of connecting couplings and a transport cable, connect the transceiver device and sensitive elements of the fiber-optic security detector, containing closed loops forming reflection signals, in which the same optical fiber segments of the cable are sensitive elements of interferometers, in which a phase shift of a probing pulse is created in accordance with exerted physical impact, same for both loops. In this case, one closed loop is a Mach-Zehnder interferometer, and the other closed loop is a Sagnac interferometer.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining the place of impact on the sensitive element; ensuring uniform sensitivity of the sensitive part of the fiber-optic security detector; increasing the reliability of the fiber-optic security detector; simplifying installation due to eliminating the need to use compensation coils in its composition, necessary to compensate for the length of fibers of the sensitive element; as well as the implementation of its purpose.
