FIELD: hydroacoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroacoustics and can be used to detect a moving sound source and measure its coordinates in a shallow sea in active-passive mode using acoustic combined receivers installed on the seabed, whose coordinates and angular position are considered known, and a directional illumination emitter. Essence: the hydroacoustic complex additionally contains an active illumination subsystem containing a radiation path, a waveguide piezoelectric converter operating in the radiation–reception mode, a correlation receiver subsystem, a second telemetry unit, a guidance subsystem and actuators. The directional characteristic of the emitter is guided by the guidance subsystem according to the measured bearing to the detected underwater sound source.
EFFECT: providing the ability to detect an underwater object and determine its coordinates.
