SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used in the construction of optical and symmetrical communication cables on a public network. We offer a combined optical and four-pair category 5e cable with an eight-section dielectric separator containing optical fibers of the same type, which are grouped by four and placed in tubular optical modules with individual stacking in the chambers of a four-beam separator, four symmetrical twisted pairs of category 5e in polymer insulation with matched twist pitches, having a three-layer dielectric shell, in which four optical modules are placed in a row each in a separate chamber of the first group chambers of an eight-section dielectric separator.
EFFECT: invention improves the level of protection against compressive mechanical effects on the cable and ensures the preservation of its mechanical parameters when laying in difficult conditions.
