FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering. When implementing the method, a test effect is exerted on the synchronous machine and the angle by which the voltage vector will turn during the test effect and the attenuation time of the transient process caused by this effect is fixed. The relative angle between the network voltage angle and the generator voltage angle is determined when the generator voltage vector is rotated by an angle equal to the angle of rotation of the generator voltage vector during the test exposure and the attenuation time of the transient process. The time is determined during which the generator should rotate at a constant speed under the control action. The control action of the calculated duration is formed and carried out. The end of the transition process is expected and check-up is carried out whether the relative velocity, relative angle and relative acceleration are equal to zero or close to zero. After that, the synchronous machine is connected to the network.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy and speed of synchronization of the synchronous machine with the network.
