A sheet of non-textured electrical steel has a chemical composition containing, wt. %: C: no more than 0.0050, Si: 3.2-5.0, Mn: no more than 2.0, P: no more than 0.02, S: no more than 0.0050, Al: 0.5-2.0, N: no more than 0.0050, Ti: no more than more than 0.0030, Nb: no more than 0.0010, V: no more than 0.0050, O: no more than 0.0050, provided that Si + Al ≥ 4.0, if necessary, at least one element selected from: Sn: 0.005-0.20, Sb: 0.005-0.20, Ca: 0.0005-0.010, Mg: 0.0005-0.010, REM: 0.0005-0.010, Cr: 0.01-5, Cu: 0.01-5, Ni: 0.01-5, Mo: 0.0005-0.1, W: 0.001-0.1, Co: 0.01-5, As: 0.001-0.05 and B: 0.0001-0.005, the rest is Fe and the inevitable impurities.
