SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of maintenance of wind turbines and can be used in the lubrication of the pivot assembly of a Whisper-200 wind turbine manufactured by Southwest Wind Power. A method for lubricating the pivot assembly of a Whisper-200 wind generator includes making a through hole in the housing wall from the outer side of the upper part of the wind generator in the area of ​​the pivot, followed by threading in it and subsequent installation of a grease gun. When carrying out maintenance, grease is added to the pivot assembly through the specified hole using a syringe, without disassembling the wind generator housing.

EFFECT: simplification of the Whisper-200 wind turbine pivot lubrication procedure, which does not require disassembly of the wind turbine housing.
