FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering. The transverse linear electric generator is designed to generate electricity when working with drives that have a linear reciprocating movement of their output device, to which the electric generator is connected. It consists of a magnet and cores with inductors. The magnet and the cores form a discontinuous magnetic circuit. In the break of the circuit in the gap, a movable magnetically conductive core is mounted on steel balls with freedom of movement across the direction of the magnetic flux. With the oscillatory movement of the core by an external drive attached to it, the magnetic flux of the circuit periodically changes, and an EMF is induced in the coils.
EFFECT: efficiency is increased.
