SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a turbine operating on exhaust gases, containing turbine rotor (12) with a set of blades (2) of the turbine rotor with height H of a turbine rotor blade. The turbine operating on exhaust gases additionally contains diffuser device (20) with transverse diffuser (1) and chamber (9) for exhaust gas collection. Transverse diffuser (1) is located downstream from blades (2) of the turbine rotor. Transverse diffuser (1) has curved channel (13) of the diffuser that is open to chamber (9) for exhaust gas collection, on outlet (17) of the diffuser channel. The ratio M/H between axial length M of chamber (9) for exhaust gas collection and height H of turbine rotor blades has a value of 1.0 ≤ M/H ≤ 4.6, and the ratio P/H between radial length P of diffuser device (20) and height H of the rotor turbine blade has a value of 2.7 ≤ P/H ≤ 4.9. The ratio D/H between radial length D of diffuser channel (13) and height H of the turbine rotor blade has a value of 2.5 ≤ D/H ≤ 3.0, and the ratio R/H between radius R of a turbine hub and height H of the turbine rotor blade has a value of 1.1 ≤ R/H ≤ 1.5.
EFFECT: creation of a turbine operating on exhaust gases with a diffuser device that has improved pressure recovery and more compact structure.
