SUBSTANCE: pistol trigger guard contains a trigger body attached by means of an axis to the pistol body, a trigger rod connecting the trigger body to the firing mechanism. The trigger is made with the possibility of rotation, when pressed, to transfer to a safe position, followed by fixing the trigger in the pressed position. To enable the trigger to rotate when pressed, a groove with cutouts at the ends is made on the trigger housing. The trigger rod is made with a protrusion for the groove cutouts and is equipped with a lever. When the lever is pressed, the protrusion of the trigger rod is removed from the groove cutout. When the trigger is subsequently pressed, the protrusion of the trigger rod is translated into a groove cutout that locks the trigger in the depressed position.
