FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of geophysics, in particular, to joint inversion of seismic and electrical data. The invention can be used in locating hydrocarbon deposits. The method for joint inversion of seismic and electrical data includes: obtaining seismic, electrical and downhole data for joint inversion; performing structural interpretation of the seismic data, including the construction of a structural framework of the model; inverting the electrical data based on the structural framework of the model, constructing a model of electrical resistivity (ER); obtaining a background low-frequency model by converting the ER model into a model of the trend component of seismic velocities; inverting the seismic data based on the background low-frequency model obtained at the previous stage.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of areal prediction of the target geological parameters based on geophysical data, improved method for inverting seismic and electrical data by converting electrical properties (conductivity) into elastic properties, wherein the accuracy of restoring elastic properties is increased.
