FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the manufacture of heat-insulating panels. The raw material mixture for the manufacture of heat-insulating polymer composite materials includes a filler, polystyrene foam waste and technical methylene chloride. Crushed wood ash is used as the filler. The ratio of polystyrene foam waste to methylene chloride ranges from 1:1.5 to 1:2.
EFFECT: increase in the strength and reduction in water absorption of heat-insulating composite materials obtained from the raw material mixture.
