FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, and in particular to generator designs. The generator contains a rotor, around which a stator with external and internal windings is located in series. Around the stator, an annular additional fixed electromagnetic circuit is mounted, consisting of a magnetic circuit and windings. Two rows of collector plates are mounted on the elongated part of the rotor shaft, each of which is connected to one of the two windings of the annular additional fixed electromagnetic circuit through the brush-collector unit for power supply of the generator rotor windings.
EFFECT: increase in efficiency and reliability.
