FIELD: refrigeration equipment.

SUBSTANCE: refrigerator comprises a body including a storage compartment with a first and a second compartments; a space used to accommodate the cooling module and the body barrier configured to separate the first and the second compartments. The body barrier comprises an insulating material. The cooling module includes a heat-emitting part including a compressor, a condenser and a fan, a heat-absorbing part including an evaporator and a fan, wherein the heat-absorbing part is located on the side of the heat-emitting part; and a cooling module barrier configured to separate the heat-emitting and the heat-absorbing parts. The cooling module is facing the body barrier and has a height greater than the height of the body barrier. At least one from the compressor, evaporator, and condenser is aligned with the body barrier. The evaporator is distanced longitudinally from the end of the body barrier. The distance between the end of the body barrier and the evaporator is less than the longitudinal length of the body barrier.

EFFECT: invention allows for easy connection of the compressor with the evaporator and facilitates assembly and maintenance.
