SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular can be used in machine tools for broaching slotted and other shaped holes in parts on broaching and similar machines. The method includes mounting a broaching device on a machine, installing a part in the device, fixing the broach in the machine chuck, and pulling the broach through the part. Before broaching, the angular position of the broach cutting teeth is corrected relative to the supporting elements of the broaching device by unfastening the broaching device on the machine, installing a standard on the broach teeth, turning the broaching device until it stops against the standard, fixing the broaching device on the machine and removing the standard from the broach. As an option, the adjustment of the angular position of the cutting teeth of the broach relative to the supporting elements of the broaching device is carried out by unfastening the broach in the machine chuck, installing the standard on the broach teeth, turning the broach together with the standard until it stops in the setting of the broaching device, fixing the broach in the machine chuck and removing the standard from the broach. The standard is set on the last broach teeth. The device for pulling slotted holes contains a broaching device, including a body and support elements located on it for locating the workpiece, equipped with a standard that imitates the machined part, and a setting is fixed on the body of the broaching device, made with the possibility of contact with the standard mounted on the cutting teeth of the broach. The broaching device can be installed on the machine with the possibility of rotation around the axis of the drawn splined hole of the part and fixation on the machine.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of the angular location of the slotted hole of the workpiece relative to its other surfaces or axes.
