FIELD: antennas.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna equipment, namely, to swing apparatus, and is used for dynamic guidance of high-gain ground antennas for communication with low-orbit space vehicles. The technical result is achieved by proposing a balanced swing apparatus containing at least two rotary mechanisms, each with a separate axis of rotation, and a counterweight secured opposite to the antenna on the elevation axis of rotation, wherein said counterweight is structurally included transformable so that the length of the load lever arm changes in direct proportion to the angle of inclination of the antenna to the horizon.
EFFECT: balancing of the gravitational effect on the swing apparatus of heavy antennas with a diameter up to 17 m, dynamic control thereof in the full range of elevation angles and azimuths without limiting the guidance sector, improvement in the dynamic characteristics of the swing apparatus, including those in the modes of acceleration and inhibition of rotational motion.
