ADHESIVE SUBLAYER FOR ATTACHING RUBBERS TO METAL Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC C09J115/02 C09J161/10 C09J11/06

Abstract RU 2774179 C1

FIELD: adhesives.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition of an adhesive sublayer used for attaching rubbers based on unsaturated and low-saturated natural rubbers to metal in the process of vulcanisation. The invention can be used in manufacturing rubber-metal parts in various industries. Adhesive sublayer for attaching rubbers to metal includes chlorinated rubber, phenol formaldehyde resins of novolak and resol types, a complex of resorcin and urotropin, a wetting agent, aerosil, solvents, and additionally contains carbon black and N1,N6-bis(5-nitrosoquinoline-8-yl)hexane-1,6-diamine. Chlorinated natural rubber or a combination of a 2,3-dichlorobutadiene-1,3 copolymer with chloroprene and chlorinated natural rubber taken in a mass ratio of 50 to 60:50 to 40 is used therein as chlorinated rubber. Mixtures of toluene or xylene with methyl isobutyl ketone are applied as solvents. The adhesive sublayer is characterised by the following ratio of components,wt. pts. : chlorinated rubber selected from chlorinated natural rubber or a combination of rubbers with chlorinated natural rubber 100, novolak-type phenol formaldehyde resin 10.0 to 40.0, resol-type phenol formaldehyde resin 1.0 to 5.0, complex of resorcin and urotropin 2.0 to 10.0, wetting agent 0.01 to 1.0, aerosil 5.0 to 20.0, carbon black 5.0 to 20.0, N1,N6-Bis(5-nitrosoquinoline-8-il)hexane-1,6-diamine 10.0 to 30.0, solvents in the form of a mixture of toluene or xylene with methyl isobutyl ketone 345.0 to 400.0.

EFFECT: increase in the strength of attachment of rubbers to metal, possibility of producing high-strength rubber-metal compounds, which improves the quality and increases the operability resource of mechanical rubber products, increases the operating reliability thereof.
