FIELD: petroleum industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the petroleum industry, namely, to methods for predicting the duration of the period of hydrodynamic surveys of boreholes by methods of pressure/level buildup curve in primary and currently conducted surveys of low-production boreholes. Method for predicting the optimal duration of the period of hydrodynamic surveys of low-production boreholes includes recording the fluid production (Qf), bottomhole (Pbot) and reservoir (Pres) pressures, used to calculate the current petroleum productivity coefficient of the borehole as (Kprod=Qf/(Pres-Pbot)). The shutdown duration of the boreholes (Topt) is based on the dependence: Topt=-57.9Ln(Kprod) +298.52.
EFFECT: development of a method for predicting the optimal duration of hydrodynamic surveys of low-production boreholes ensuring reception of reliable data on the filtration characteristics of the reservoir and the bottomhole zone based on the results of interpretation of the hydrodynamic surveys of boreholes by methods of pressure/level buildup curve.
