SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation and rocket technology, and in particular to methods for disconnecting the electrical connector between the rocket and the launcher. The method for disconnecting an electrical connector includes the manufacture of separable structures with a quick-disconnect electrical connection of a plug with a socket included in them. In this case, the plug is fixed motionlessly on one of the separable structures, and the socket is installed on a floating bracket, which is placed in a niche of the opposite separable structure, and is equipped with a movement mechanism. Wherein the movement mechanism is made in the form of a parallelogram of rods with the ability to adjust the length, and they are hinged at one end to the axes of rotation, which are performed on a floating bracket, and at the other end to the axes of rotation, which are performed on the walls of the niche. At the same time, the ends of the rods located on the common axes of rotation are cross-connected through elastic elements, uniting them with each other by a central cross, swivel couplings, consisting of a cylinder having a longitudinally movable axis of rotation, which is fixed on the wall of the niche with an offset relative to the axes of rotation of the rods, made on the niche walls. In this case, the cylinder cavity is provided with a spring, with one end resting against the bottom of the cylinder, and the other end against the piston, which is fixed with one end in the cylinder cavity with the possibility of moving in the longitudinal direction, and the other end is pivotally fixed to the rotation axes made on the floating bracket.

EFFECT: method for disconnecting the electrical connector allows you to continue further movement of the socket relative to the plug after breaking their physical contact, and the implementation of the hinged fastening of the moving elements increases the reliability of the design, while the "floating" scheme of fastening the socket relative to the plug allows you to perform "blind" docking.
