SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrical engineering; it can be used for control of the operation and protection of an asynchronous electric engine, in particular a gyromotor of the air horizon. A system for control and protection of an asynchronous electric engine contains static current converter 1, switchboard 2, control unit 3, digital comparator 4, failure number setter 5, failure pulse counter 6, frequency control device 7, and protection device 8.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of operation of an asynchronous electric engine.
