FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, in particular to a universal transition couplers for connecting rail units. The hitch contains a hook element and an adapter, which are connected by a power rod. The hook element is made in the form of two brackets with coaxial holes at the ends and a fixing pin. The brackets are fixed on the intermediate fork. The fork is connected to the end of the power rod. The connecting part of the adapter is made along the contour of the internal mouth of the automatic coupler. The upper surface of the adapter is equipped with a lock in the form of swivel stops. The stops are designed to interact with the upper surface of the automatic coupler in the working position.
EFFECT: scope of use of the transition coupling is expanding.
