FIELD: microwave technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave technology and is intended for frequency selection of signals. A highly selective microstrip band pass filter contains a dielectric substrate, one side of which is metallized and acts as a grounded base, and the other side is coated with a rectilinear strip conductor of the resonator, partially split at one end with a longitudinal slot, and the relative length of the unsplit section is from 16% to 65%, in this case, an additional strip conductor is located inside the split section, connected at one end to the unsplit section of the resonator. The filter is configured to obtain three oscillation modes of each resonator, while the filter has two zeros of the transmission coefficient located symmetrically with respect to the central frequency of the filter passband, and is also configured to converge the resonant frequencies by varying the length of the unsplit section.
EFFECT: increasing the selectivity of the microstrip band pass filter.
