SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to variants of implementation of an apparatus for heating the smoking material. Apparatus for heating the smoking material includes a smoking material heating chamber (4) and a smoking material (5) placed in a cartridge (11) containing a tube of the smoking material inserted into the smoking material heating chamber (4). The tube of the smoking material is placed around the smoking material heater (3) so that the smoking material (5) is located outside of the longitudinal outer surface of the heater (3). The smoking material heater (3) comprises multiple coaxial heating areas forming an elongated structure along the longitudinal axis of the smoking material heater (3) and adjacent to the smoking material (5), and the length of the cartridge (11) is equal to the length of the heater (3), so that the heater (3) can heat the cartridge (11) along the entire length thereof.

EFFECT: possibility of independent operation of the heating areas so that different areas can be activated at different times in order to heat the smoking material.
