FIELD: computing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computing technology and control systems. The technical result is achieved by performing parallel search line by line in a characteristic matrix with parallel computing in blocks of multi-input OR elements with a regular starting value structure, wherein the data scheme of the blocks comprises k-1 OR elements each with a regularly varying number of inputs - 2, 3, 4 ... k, the connections whereof allow for parallel computing of the starting values of cells within a row of the characteristic matrix of search cells.
EFFECT: implementation of parallel search with reduced hardware complexity of the apparatus.
