FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction industry; it can be used for the construction of self-supporting walls or inner partitions of buildings, and as heat-insulating and soundproof material. Arbolite block (1) has a shape of a rectangular parallelepiped, it is made of composite material containing Portland cement with additives as a binder, and sawdust as a filler, and it is reinforced with wooden elements (2) made in the form of bars evenly located in a vertical plane along the longitudinal axis of the block. Reinforcing elements can also be located with the formation in plan of symmetrical equilateral triangles mirror-like relatively to the transverse axis, one of vertices of which lies on the longitudinal axis, and the other two vertices are located on a line parallel to the transverse axis of the block.
EFFECT: simplification of structure, and reduction in labor intensity of the manufacture.
