FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to UHF antenna equipment and can be used both as independent antenna apparatuses, elements of broadband antenna systems for monitoring the electromagnetic situation, and as broadband irradiators of mirror and lens antennas, as well as phased antenna arrays with optical excitation. The substance of the invention consists in installing a set of extended conductive partition plates in a dephased pyramidal or E-sectoral horn perpendicular to the electric vector, wherein the internal edges of the plates are placed at an uneven pitch near the neck of the horn, and the external edges form a linear equidistant lattice in the aperture plane, forming a discrete uneven tapered distribution of amplitudes and near-quadratic distribution of phases in the horn aperture.
EFFECT: formation of frequency-independent antenna patterns in the E-plane and constant-width axially symmetric antenna patterns for a pyramidal horn in the frequency band with a relative overlap of at least an octave.
