SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of hair cutting apparatuses. Detachable comb attachment for connection with the cutting head of the cutting apparatus comprises clamping elements and a set of comb teeth. Installation grooves are made opposite each other on the inner surfaces of the two clamping elements. The installation grooves set a number of clamping positions wherein the cutting element of the cutting head can be placed and locked. The installation grooves on the opposite inner surfaces set an inclined plane between the grooves, forming a clamping plane for the cutting element. The clamping elements are configured to be displaced from each other in order to displace the corresponding grooves of each clamping element from each other. The invention also includes a method for adjusting the connection between the hair cutting apparatus and the detachable comb attachment, as well as a hair cutting assembly.

EFFECT: increased convenience of adjusting the settings of the hair cutting length.
