FIELD: sports training.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of training devices for surfing, as well as to the field of entertainment, more specifically refers to devices for the formation of artificial waves in natural and artificial reservoirs. The task set by the developer of the new installation and method for generating waves was to create a new device and a method devoid of disadvantages of known solutions. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the wave generation installation includes a wave generator, a underwater platform movably connected to it, adjustable in depth of the reservoir, and a tensioning device, and the wave generator is made of a chamber mounted on a frame with an inlet/outlet for water from below and an air valve from above connected to a vacuum pump, and the underwater platform is designed in the form of a plate or at least two plates connected movably and in series with each other, and the underwater platform is connected to a tensioning device and with a load, located at the bottom of the reservoir, with the help of cables passed through the roller, and the tensioning device is mounted on a frame or fixed on the shore of the reservoir. And the underwater platform for wave formation includes at least one plate, adjustable in depth of the reservoir, in the form of a structure elongated in a horizontal plane, consisting of a rigid layer made with the ability to hold the wave and give it the necessary shape and a floating layer to give the underwater platform positive buoyancy, and the plate is connected to a tensioner and a load, located at the bottom of the reservoir, with the help of cables passed through the roller. Also, the underwater platform for wave formation includes at least one plate, adjustable in depth of the reservoir, in the form of a structure elongated in a horizontal plane, consisting of a rigid layer made with the ability to hold the wave and give it the necessary shape on adjustable supports fixed or installed at the bottom of the reservoir.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of wave formation in natural and artificial reservoirs and regulating the height, shape and direction of the wave.
