FIELD: textile materials production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of creating sorption-active textile materials for filtering means of personal protection against aggressive and highly toxic environments. The sorption-active textile material contains in its structure activated carbon and a polymeric fixative, consists of two layers of fabrics filled with carbon and brought into direct contact along the coal-charcoal boundary with the presence in the structure of the material of an interface passing along the contact line of the surfaces of two carbon-filled coatings along the line coal-coal, with the formation of a coal phase rupture along this boundary, which changes the nature of the processes of mass transfer of chemical products through the material with a synergistic enhancement of its barrier effect.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the specific efficiency of activated carbon used in the material, while significantly increasing the level of protective properties of the material and significantly expanding the list of hazardous chemical compounds from which this material would provide reliable protection.
