FIELD: smoking equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for heating the smoking mixture with hookah coals. The device for placing heated hookah coals contains a base for placing heated hookah coals, in which passages are made to direct the heat flow from the heated hookah coals placed on the base to the area located under the bottom of the tank. This base is made of three plates located from each other, the first of which, which serves to accommodate heated hookah coals, is made on the surface of the central part with through slots from 100 to 350 microns wide for the heat flow to pass through them into the area under this plate. The second plate is located under the first one, attached to it and made with a central through hole with a diameter not less than the transverse dimension of the central part of the first plate. The third plate is made solid and is attached from below along the periphery to the second plate to form between the plates a cavity for receiving the heat flux passing through the slots of the first plate, and to form openings at the place of attachment of the third plate to the second plate for the heat flux to exit from the said cavity.
