FIELD: fire protection.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to fire-fighting equipment used as part of automatic fire extinguishing systems, namely to a sprinkler for supplying extinguishing liquid (in particular water) in the form of a thinly sprayed stream. The sprinkler contains a housing with an outlet blocked by a spring-loaded shut-off valve, a thermosensitive collapsible element and a forced actuation mechanism. The actuation mechanism is located on the outer side of the sprinkler housing and is made in the form of a ball stopper driven by an electromagnet containing a core, frame, winding and an external magnetic circuit. The ball stopper includes a bushing mounted on the sprinkler body. A sleeve is inserted into the bushing in such a way that the sleeve is connected to the thermosensitive bulb with the end face. A toroidal boring is made on the inner surface of the bushing. Through radial holes are made in the sleeve. A locking ball retainer is inserted inside the sleeve. The locking balls are located in the mentioned holes of the sleeve and in the mentioned toroidal boring of the bushing and are preloaded by the mentioned retainer. The ball retainer towards the thermosensitive bulb is preloaded by a spring installed between the locking ball retainer and the core of the said electromagnet placed on the other side of the said sleeve. The core of the electromagnet is installed in the inner cavity of the sleeve, the frame, the frame of the electromagnet is placed on the outer surface of the sleeve, the winding of the electromagnet is placed on the mentioned frame, and the external magnetic circuit is connected to the frame and closes the winding.
EFFECT: possibility to provide reliable remote control, forced start-up and monitoring of the condition of the sprinkler of the fire extinguishing system.
