FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket and space technology, namely to the design of transition trusses. The transition truss contains eight lower support nodes aligned with the vertices of a regular octagon, and four upper support nodes aligned with the vertices of a square. The odd spans of the truss are deflected outward of the truss, in each of the odd spans of the truss, the upper support node is connected to the two lower support nodes by inclined braces. The geometric center of the support nodes of the upper girdle of the truss is shifted relative to the geometric center of the support nodes of the lower girdle along the direction of the first diagonal of the upper girdle of the truss towards the first odd span of the truss and is additionally deflected along the direction of the second diagonal of the upper girdle of the truss towards the seventh span of the truss. The truss is made with a height no less than 4 times less than the length of the diagonal between diametrically opposite nodes of the lower girdle of the truss. A triangular frame is placed in each of the even spans of the truss. There are two inclined braces, the first ends of which are fixed in the support nodes of the upper belt of the truss, and the second ends are connected to the third corner of the frame.
EFFECT: cancelling the drift of the center of mass is achieved.
