FIELD: thermal control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal control systems (TCS), mainly with a cooling capacity of 16-18 kW, for telecommunications satellites with a total power consumption of 25-30 kW. TCS contains a liquid circuit (LC) of the coolant, equipped with an electric pump unit (EPU). Regular refueling of LC with a deaerated coolant, without an installed EPU, is carried out in the air environment of the workshop with mechanical impurities up to 50 microns in size. EPU includes hydraulic connectors at the inlet and outlet, as well as a fine filter from contaminants with a size of 5 microns or more. The liquid path of the EPU is filled in the modified section of the workshop, in an air environment with impurities no larger than 5 microns, and then the EPU is installed in the LC using the EPU and LC hydraulic connectors, as well as the LCD flexible pipeline.
EFFECT: ensuring high reliability of TCS operation during its long-term (10-15 years) operation as part of satellites with the specified power consumption.
