SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of neural network protection. The method for protecting neural network models implemented on the basis of an executive device, a machine learning framework deployed on it and a hardware encryption key associated with the executive device is disclosed, which consists in the fact that the functions of the software logic of the inference of the neural network model and the part of the framework used for the correct functioning of this logic, with the exception of the file of the neural network model itself, is packed into a single executable file, eliminating the need to call functions from outside of this executable file; at least one function of the framework or/and software logic of the inference of the neural network model is transferred from the received executable file to the hardware encryption key; the received executable file with at least one function of the framework or/and software logic of the inference of the neural network model, as well as the neural network model, is encrypted using the hardware encryption key.

EFFECT: ensuring the protection of the neural network model from copying or unauthorized use.
