SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering. The unit contains a frame, a rack with a support wheel, a hydraulic motor, a vertical drive shaft. The unit is equipped with self-adjusting flexible working elements and a bypass valve. A bypass valve with the possibility of redirecting the working fluid bypassing the hydraulic motor is installed in front of the hydraulic motor, on the output shaft of which a vertical shaft is fixed by means of a coupling. On the lower end of the vertical drive shaft, by means of a keyway, a crosspiece is rigidly attached with guides inclined by 45 degrees to the horizontal, on which bushings are installed with the possibility of moving along these guides. The movement of the sleeve from the upper side is limited by a spring rigidly fixed on the lower side with the sleeve, on the upper side with the cross. A washer is rigidly fixed to the guide from the bottom side, which does not allow the bushing to fly out of the guide. A flexible working element is rigidly fixed to the bushing.

EFFECT: increased quality of removal of tops of root crops.
